Yellowhead Highway e Icefields Parkway



Saímos de Smithers no dia 19/07/15 e seguimos até Prince George, que é a maior cidade ao norte da Colúmbia Britânica. A estrada também mudou já que deixamos a Cassiar Highway e seguimos pela Yellowhead Highway; ao contrário da Cassiar, a Yellowhead é mais movimentada e existem muitas fazendas e pequenas cidades pelo caminho, mas mesmo assim conseguimos ver um alce que atravessou a estrada correndo e se escondeu na mata. Columbia Glacier



The Columbia Icefield is the largest ice field in the Rockies, and feeds eight major glaciers. The Columbia Glacier is easily accessible by foot. Icefields



One of the highlights of the park is the Icefields Parkway drive, from Lake Louise to Jasper. It is prime wildlife viewing, where we saw both black and grizzly bears, mountain goats, big horn sheep and elk. We checked nearly every box.
